the only ones that get "ripped apart" are the ones that seemingly don't read the main and forum rules, start a thread asking something that could easily be found through google or wikipedia, OR say that they're rubbish at everything and want to assemble a team to make their game for them when they haven't even properly introduced themselves.
in most cases those types of threads get deleted but you've got to have a bit of fun every now and then...

sorry the last post i drifted.. but what i'm saying is i've been ambling in and out of AGS for over 5 years, and things have got alot harsher towards the misguided, i can think of quite a few members here that had shaky start but turned out to be good talanted members.. if the reception then was the same as it is now these members may not be around

here's my question though. What if a guy ate/drank ONLY his own spunk for two weeks. What would his spaff taste like? Would it be like, pure splonk? Would it taste like heaven? Or babies?

Well, considering the amount of spunk I have ever swallowed... It's mostly full of protein, I suppose. So it's like eating raw eggs, only smaller amounts. I don't really recommend trying to live with your own spunk, since youd need a lot of it to keep hunger away... So basically what would happen is what ever happens when you don't eat enough.

It's more important people get used to the humour immediately. If we walk around being nice to each other all the time, things will go horribly PC. Nobody here is outright cruel or anything, we just make some jokes when someone asks a silly question with bad grammar.

In fact, this was moved from Beginner's Tech, as the bulk of it isn't AGS technical related. But that's kind of moot, since the first few posts actually DO try to help, it's just that mistral hasn't actually been bothered to respond and there's not a great deal of point in adding anything else until we know if there's still a problem.

But it has drifted kind of far off topic.

This BFAQ entry along with the one after it, and the two Tutorial lessons I mentioned back at the beginning of the thread. If you already have bitmaps of characters you want to use, you don't actually need .CHA files. There are some around (try the contributions thread over in Critics Lounge, or you could use the RoN characters), but if you're using tileset graphics, chances are they won't fit.
