Not many LARPers ever get to fight dragons. Playing drunk on the other hand... oh boy...

On an assorted note, prostitutes are common in fantasy settings, but they usually hand out back rubs. Or you enter the tent/cottage and make funny noises while trying hard to maintain a straight face. It's all show and very little method acting I'm afraid. In fact, sex is usually avoided as more than a comedic subject, since it's so close to your own being. Brutal violence has been stylized since our early childhood through games and movies, but sex leaves few unaffected whichever the form.

But then there's more specialized LARPs that work with relationships and drama rather than an epic fantasy, and sex is as important in that as it is in real life. It's not uncommon to use safe words, as in BDSM. Come to think of it, BDSM is very much like LARPing - but LARPing is not very much like BDSM
