I'd be a bad person if I didn't share this.

It's, to me, a piece of true art.

Perhaps you'll love it as I.

Tuesday is coming, did you bring your coat?

(edit: yes, I love it. So surreal and so funny. I recommend everyone to watch it.)

And thay's why you shouldn't give artists creative control. They'll only go and be creative with it...

Nikolas

Thank you Kinoko! What an experience...

Ubel

That was so sick and bizarre... I loved it.

Someone wants to discuss the idea of making a stickie "Lovely Links" thread? So people who does like this sort of things should spend a nice time watching the whole thread.

We would have all of them ordered, with an explanation of where does the link go to... (I'd really like to keep that video of the "rubber boy" that one who danced in a high school scenario, the one who looked like Barcik and danced like a rubber robot ^_^)

We should also keep the first page clean of links, ensuring there would be only one for that, the stickie.

And people who does not like this links would be warned with the link info, so they would not waste time watching a video they know they won't like, or a video that have seen 3 years before.

(Not directly related to this thread, just a general idea... Hope not "behaving as a moderator" but launching an idea...)

Thanks.
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Thank you.  That made me so very happy for 9 minutes.  Now I am sad again.  So cold.

Andail

That was brilliant. It's so Achtung Franz, in a way.

Bonus fact; The song that is sung while the cloud-people dance and cheer (and the leader is bleeding from his anus) is a Swedish christmas carol.

Ah yes, Don Hertzfeldt is brilliant.
My friends and I sometimes recite bits from Rejected when very bored (or, alternatively, very drunk).

Another bonus fact: Rejected was nominated for an Academy award for best short animated film. Funky.

LGM

Silly hats only!

Yes, this cartoon is very popular in some social rings around my school. Quotations aplenty!

Harry (Evil) even made a shirt with the puffy anus-bleeding guy on it.

This short video got me thinking a lot. I won't go into any details here, but honestly as a creator (of anything), I love it.

PyroMonkey

This must be the millionth time I've seen this, and I still laughed my ass off!

edmundito

I've seen it before, and it's still awesome! It's actually better than ever. :=

My favourite bit is

where Hetzfeld's cartoon universe just crumbles and all the characters try to flee the destruction.

I must begin, of course, by pointing out that I love this film. Quite brilliant, even though I don't always know why.

I must continue, though, by pointing out that it's not public domain and the file we're all discussing is pirated and quite illegal. And Don Hertzfeldt does not approve of that, for those of you who might care more about that than about copyright laws.

Sorry.

Evil

I love Don Hertzfeldt. My favorite short is "Women".

LGM

"Ah L'Amour" is also quite nice.
You. Me. Denny's.

Al_Ninio

And both "Ah L'Amour" and "Women" just happen to be the same film! :o
("Ah, L'amour" being the official name, renamed to "Women" on many P2P networks and whatnot.)
