Thought I'd share this with you.  This has to be one of the earliest sci-fi tv shows circa early 1950's (1952 is mentioned in some of the episodes/commercials).  The intro is really cool and perhaps may provide some inspiration for the title screen of a sci-fi game.  This particular episode features Boris Karloff as a mad scientist time traveler.  I also noticed that the commercial makes a big deal about the federal tax being included in the purchase price but AFIK there has never ever been a national/federal salse tax  :=.  If this sort of thing is your cup of tea please enjoy...

Yeah, it wasn't loading so I didn't know what was wrong but then I caught that hulu logo above and it made perfect sense.
Hulu are my nemessis, it's not the first time we've crossed swords and it probably won't be the last time! I shall have my revenge one day!  >:(

Too bad, kinda wanted to see that since it's partialy connected to some of my research on a game idea...oh, well, tnx for the link anyway.

You can always use proxy, guys. :) I have no problem with Hulu or ABC, and I'm in Europe. ;D Great vid btw. ;) Thanks, RickJ.
I am a mighty pirate. Arrrrgh!

Stuff proxy, I shall not pretend for anyone...except torrents, of course.  :P

Thanks RickJ, I know it's serious but this is just funny as hell - the acting, the music and that bit "I'm gonna have more money than she'd ever seen" just reminded me of Dr. Evil's 1 million dollars.  ;D

@anian:  The fun part of classic sci-fi an also old time radio is that you can see what people, back then,  were thinking about at the time and what they thought about the future.  Inevitably here will be unintended "funny as hell" moments.

Here is even an older one and it was broadcast live as well.   There is an episode of the Honeymooners where Ed and Ralph pool their funds to buy a new TV set and attempt to share it.   Ed's favorite show is "Captian Video and His Video Rangers".  I thought it was a made up title and had no idea that the thing actually existed until I found it on http://www.archive.org.  ;D

Here's a clip with English subtitles from a German 1966 science fiction series:

I love this show, seven 45-minute epsisodes were produced and I have them all on DVD.

Aw yeah, that's one's awesome. Although I think they were really hard pressed to come up with a name for the aliens that abbreviates to FROGS. I mean "Feindliche Raumschiffe ohne Galaktische Seriennummer" (hostile spaceships without galactic serial number)? What the hell?  :P

Well I don't think it's funny cause it's stupid (I kinda like those old shows, and it's really open for a slight modernisation of a story and there could be a cool game out of it too), but seriously doctor comes into the office wearing a regular suit about the same as the other guy and they tell him that he wears funny clothes.  ;D

And that Orion thing isn't bad either, both Orion and Tales in fact are better than first season of Star trek episodes imo, although ST probably had a bigger budget.

I watched the original first Twilight Zone episode back a while ago (it was on a french site and then got a cease and desist letter). The one that realy made me think was weird was episode 11 though not really sci-fi.
Also not sci-fi but weird are the Alfred Hitchcock Presents series. It's hillarious to watch him anounce the comercial break when he cleary hates comercials.
