So has any consensus been reached on the quality of this game yet? After all the pre-release fuss everything seems to have gone a bit quiet about it.

Speaking of which, I can't help suspecting that the seeming complete lack of awareness about this game from the percentage of the population who're unable to recite Tim Schafer's entire career biography on command is a less then promising signal of this game's commerical prospects.

This game is incredibly awesome.
Laugh-out-loud funny, surprisingly large amount of dialog (for a platformer), and the artistic style is simply... amazing.

I recommend this game to everyone.

I don't like digging up old threads, but since this game just came out, i figured it was still relevant to post about.

I bought the game last night for the Xbox and have to say it is (so far) wonderful.  I only played for about an hour (because i bought Doom3 also), but it really shows that a lot of love went into the production of the game.

The graphics, even on the Xbox, were very sharp and colorful, and as i would like to say breathtaking.  The game is alot of fun, and the controls were really well tuned.  I usually am not a fan of cut scenes in video games, but some of these were really funny, and also the music was splendid.  I can tell you this was money well spent.

So anybody out there who hasn't picked up their copy. I urge you to go out and get it.  You won't be dissapointed.

I didn't want this to come off as a review, but i guess it did.  I'm proud of Mr. Schafer for this game.  Well Done!!

There were rumors that they were selling the game in New Zealand, at least the PC version. I think the XBOX and PS2 are going to take a lot longer.
