Silent Hill 2 for GB Arrives in April!

I know, Silent Hill is not really an adventure game, but may be that can be interesting for you:

The game ruled, although I have two things to comment upon it: it's way too short and it has too many locked rooms for my liking.



I admit that it was frustrating to get killed each time I reached a new landmark, but that's life and gaming, so you'd better start training and replaying past SH titles, since this baby's coming to the GB! I'm curios if we'll see other similar ports in the future, not from Konami, but from Capcom, who haven't delivered a GBA Resident Evil title, so far, if I'm not mistaking."

I cannot believe this because they could never water down such a perfect game like Silent Hill 2 to a handheld that came out 20 years ago.

I am a big fan of Silent Hill, but from the video I saw on that web site just made me want to cry.

Silent Hill is about the atmosphere of the game, and the Game Boy could never do it justice.  It needs the fog, the haunting music, the scare factor, but seeing pyramid head in a top down perspective in black and white game makes me mad.

I am sorry to say that Silent Hill 1,2,3 were the best of the series.

I hated SH4, Tried to get through Silent Hill Homecoming, but that game was more combat oriented, and i found it to difficult to proceed with. Even though HC did have some nice graphics.

That is James in the Apartment complex when he reached the flooded staircase and PH was coming after him. I put so many bullets into him until he walked down the flooded staircase and left.

SH2 is also my favourite part fo SH. I was very happy to play it on NES and now there is a GB version to! It's just amazing!

Does anyone remember when there actually was going to a version of Resident evil for Game Boy Colour but then the project got cancelled. That looked awesome.

You know what, this and my love of the original Alone in the Dark has me decided; HD isn't scary.

I'd love it if this was to come out - Silent Hill 2 is a game that will always make my top ten and I've got a soft spot for the good old, brick-like Gameboy.

Ah folks I didn't see this, well they did release a Game Boy Color game! Resident Evil Gaiden, where Leon stars along with Barry. I don't know if that's the one you were referring to, Eggie, but it does exist, it wasn't cancelled. The Leon on the box even looks like the one they used to advertise Resident Evil 1.5 with (where Claire was still Eliza)

Eggie, that's awesome! I like how the zombie just kneels there after you've killed him  I wonder what's the countdown about though?

SH2 was awesome on the playstation and NES but im worried about the quality downgrade going to the gameboy....
