I've listened to a lot of System of a Down (Despite my nick), and I don't quite recall a song where they take what everyone says and augment it to seem like the most extreme case possible.

YOU JUST MADE System Of A Down, a strange topic about absolutely nothing except my arguments and eccentric love for SOAD a VERY HOT TOPIC!!!!!!!

You guys must be really bored to argue with me for this long.... anyway, I need to hit the hay, I have class tomorrow and I want to introduce SOAD to my history teacher, who also hates the U.S. government. Ã, I think he'll like SOAD, don't you guys?

What a coincedence that my uncle was talking in the same SOAD crazed fashion as you are right now..I took a gander at their site and sampled thier stuff..musically, I can't say I'm really impressed, and I'm dissapointed that I went and paused my reel-to-reel of Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds...Oh well, to each his own.


And on the subject of exposure to more obscure bands:

Well this thread is just a little bit crazy... Oh well I guess I'll offer my 2 cents.

I like SOAD's music. I think that they are quite talented and make great music, but I'm not a fan of all their lyrics I 'spose. Much like alot of music I guess.

System of a Down rocks! Before SOAD I didn't listen to any music at all. I love their style and I can't wait for their new album ;D.

I think Chop Suey is their best song, along with Spiders. Sugar and Toxicity also rock
