It's just that Baba oriley is more up-beat , just like you suggested in your PM , and it seems pretty challenging , in a good way that can produce interesting things from us.. or not.. 

I think we should also try to write something soon, maybe after a few more covers, just to see where it throws us

THANK YOU! A friend of mine turned me on to her quite a few years back. She's got a great voice. I can certainly hear you doing this song.

I can't remember who it was on IRC last night, Yarcanox maybe... but thought it was a country song. It's got a small "aroma" of country only because of the strings and slide, but other than that, it's more blues.

I figured we could do something nice with this song. If not this time, then maybe another time.

the thing is that this song and the others that you mentioned (which are really cool btw 8)) don't have enough parts for all of us. they are mostly guitar based.
ofcourse we can change the arrangement and make it richer but that means we'll have to approach it differently.

Like Wyz said a while ago, seeing as we're having everyone pick a cover, I reckon we should do them all. And if somebody's choice is too tough, let them choose another. Even if everyone is eager to start an original composition, I'd like to come back and do the rest of the covers later on.

To tell you the truth , I haven't tried singing it yet..but I like the challenge and it's worth a try
