MrColossal - if you don't recommend getting drunk and posting on the forums, what's your view on getting RIPPED and then posting... I mean some people get all "Creative" and such while under the influence of sibannac, and this is usually positive in the light of Adventure Game Production. What do you think??

ohh im not going to mock the great, but i'll just let you know its not the first time ive got pissed. Obviously im not as experienced as most of you guys, at the age 15. But im not adzactly a newcomer to the alcaholic beverage called lager. Yes LAGER!

but you're body gets accustomed to alcohol. To start training it from the day your 15 means that by the time your 75 you'll be drinking your bodyweight in vodka to get pissed... (note: also a prime example of exaggeration, although with a serious element of truth in it)

Drink 7 pints of guiness after 5 you feel sober on the 6th it hits ya....

...Takes a while to soak in....

im an occasional drinker, no heavyweight. But recently a loadda my mates have been having parties, like 3 in the last month. So ive had a bit of drink at them.

But seriously, i know people, lots of people who get absolutly hammered, sometimes "white assed" every friday.

*edit* this issue has been such a problem in my town that they have enforced a new law. Its now illigal for under 21 year old's to buy alcahol on friday of saturday nights. Because they have been buying it for the youngens.

Peter Thomas, as valid as I find your comment, I think the phrase "get real" springs to mind. And I don't mean that in an offensive way, at all.

Someone said that by removing the "taboo" that adults set around things like drinking etc, makes younger people do it, try it etc.

I can't be bothered to go into the full details, but a 15 year old drinking may be shocking, but round here we have 10 year olds who drink and smoke - the world is fucking up, and the biggest factor to this IMHO is the internet.

I'm a bad speller when I'm drunk.  I frequently misspell words, but I still correct them before posting.

I don't know... getting drunk isn't as fun as it used to be...  I think I'm finally getting to the point where knowing that I'm 21 isn't all it's cracked up to be.  I'm tired of paying for it in the morning (feeling like shit), and I've done some stupid shit that I really regret while intoxicated.  Not to mention it becomes quite costly after a while (and if I continue to do it, it's going to get me in trouble with money).  I guess I've just about got it all out of my system.

I don't even really know if I really enjoyed getting drunk in the first place...  I enjoyed the way it made me feel (less inhibited).  I guess I also enjoyed the company (friends or strangers), or the activities (watching the band, singing karaoke, shooting pool).  But like I said, I'm sick of paying for it in the morning.  Going to work with a hangover is a bitch... I don't want to do anything because I ache, I smell bad, not to mention what going on inside my stomach.

I honestly haven't the faintest idea what you're trying to ask me... Should people be able to post if their high? Um... Yes? No? I don't care? People can post when their hungry and people can post when their naked [I used to post a lot while I was naked in fact, I was probably the most naked AGSer].

the reason I say "Don't post on the forums drunk" is because do you know how many times someone has posted something stupid or repeatedly posted "penish" over and over again and then said "Whoops, sorry I was drunk haha silly me!"?

So let me rephrase, be careful what you post while drunk and I personally would rather you just stayed away from the forums if you're sloppy assed drunk but whatever, moving on

In my country that's not silly... it's just...  usual/common.

And I consider it quite logical...

Vomiting 3 times in a night when you're 17 makes you consider if you want to be that kind of adult... It is a good idea to catch most of the haddocks you're going to catch during your life when you're young and have no driving license...

And come on... I am not saying I was an alcoholic, drunk every weekend... I just wanted to have some laughs, I drunk 3 or 4 whiskies during the whole night...

(There was also time for big records, like 17 shoots of licour in a row, wow!)

When are you going to drink if not when being 15-18 years old? When being 20-30, married and with a job? No... And I don't think I'm an exceptional example, actually, my former weekend-party mates do not go to party or drink, nowadays...

Maybe you feel "weak" ( Sorry, I can't find the correct English word, but It's not "weak", mate... ) and think that if you get used to alcohol when yu're too young, you're going to become an alcoholic, but I don't feel that, nor 90% of the people of my generation in my country.
