For the longest time I compared everything to the price of buying a Sega Megadrive. Like after grocery shopping: "You could have bought a whole Sega with that money!" or after lunch "That cost half a Sega!".

$10 bucks could buy me a third of a Sega. Or 60 internet hours. Or 100 cups of tea.

You live on porridge?

i live mostly on cereal and noodles, which cost 8p a packet.

Tesco value or safeway bettabuy?

And do you find you end up just like, eating them... without any water?

right now i'm just eating Morrison's and Farm Foods own brands (sadly not the Ko-Lee ones they used to sell). i've never tried eating them without water though...

For some reason, when I read the title of this thread, this was what came to mind:

Must have been too much of that lager at Brittens...

Aus $10
1 packet of cigarettes (less than 1 pack from a servo or vending machine)

or

2.5 local beers at local pub

or

between 8-9 Litres of unleaded petrol

or

a Banana since Larry wiped out most of the nations crops

To me $10 is not much

nb currently:

AUD$10 = USD$7.19 = CAD$8.38 = EURâ,¬5.96 = GBP£4.12

GBP£10 = AUD$24.26 = USD$17.44 = CAD$20.34 = EURâ,¬14.45

EURâ,¬10 = GBP£6.92 = AUD$16.79 = USD$12.06 = CAD$14.07

CAD$10 = EURâ,¬7.11 = GBP£4.92 = AUD$11.93 = USD$8.57

USD$10 = CAD$11.67 = EURâ,¬8.29 = GBP£5.74 = AUD$13.92

Hahaha..I definitely don't care for a cuppa. It was just an example. But yeah, milk, sugar etc. included. Another example I guess would be a month's worth of good lunches for 1 person.
