Quote“I am happy to announce that after talking with my children, my family and my closest friends, I have decided to return to professional cycling in order to raise awareness of the global cancer burden," Armstrong said in a statement released Tuesday by the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Thanks.
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

If he wins an 8th Tour de France (at age 37) I will be very impressed indeed!

I must admit this doesn't surprise me ... retirement these days (for celebrities) very rarely sticks!  They often get pulled back into the spot-light.  The sad thing is that, oft-times, when they return they never recapture that former glory and thus taint their legacy.

Here's hoping Lance "Aragorn" Armstrong doesn't meet the same fate!

Welcome back Lance!

And here I was hoping for another 7-11 Elvis sighting, but alas.

But great work Lance. Rather aged for a sports star, not that 37 is old in regular people terms, it would be an immense effort for him to pull out a big win. But here's hoping huh?

I doubt he' s going to win, but I have confidence that he will performance something amazing...  :)
