Because I know there's some Commodore 64 fans here, and Indiana Jones and Dizzy fans too, behold what would have been the greatest game in the universe had it been released 24 years ago:

Joe Gunn!

The game in a nutshell: explore the Crocodile King's tomb, avoid traps, solve puzzles and steal the riches for fortune and glory!

The latest version, including bug fixes and german translation, can be found on the creator's website, in the Programs section.

If it wasn't already obvious that you are a retro fan then the phrase 'totally rad' probably gave it away.  ;)

Joe Gunn looks pretty cool.

The C64 is something I'm rather passionate about lately.

ProgZ, I noticed that on tigsource, looks fantastic!

On a related note, I wrote a game for the VIC-20 over Christmas:

It's playable in VICE if you run xvic, set it to unexpanded, and then autostart the d64.
Still waiting for Purity of the Surf II

BlueStar's pretty awesome as well, and it even has that old school no hand-holding platform goodness that all the games from that era had (and drove me crazy!).  The character upgrades were a nice touch as well.  I wish Joe Gunn had some of those since the whole not being able to kill a snake thing (and having to wait out its slow pattern of stopping to successfully jump it) gets old after awhile.

Bruce Lee is still THE GAME for me, although I was better playing it on the Spectrum!
I use the c64 emulator from Computerbrains C.C.S. btw and get my games from C64.com
The music on the c64 for Bruce Lee rocks!
Working on a RON game!!!!!
