I've read that Lordi has allways acted disguised... Leaving apart that those does not sound a lot like "heavy metal" attitude, but as a marketing tactic, a magazine has published images of the singer without the mask...

The fans have called to boycott the magazine...

And now, to annoy the members who are fans of the group, I'll post the image here:

;D

Just kidding... If people gets annoyed by this, they are just dumb... Read what I said about the Mohammed cartoons and apply it to this...Ã,  :)

P.S. I think he's as ugliest without mask as he is with...
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Helm

I don't think that's an ugly person at all.

No he's not! I would gladly go to bed with him!

btw, I don't consider the eurovision song from Lordi metal. Just that. I loved the fact that they won. And that the Greek entry was just a collage of stolen songs and the singer was an old lady that should sit home and stop pretending to be 20!

Amen! My mom almost worships her... It's funny, but sad.

I think the eurovision song contest is a joke and Lordi wasn't very good. But then again, nobody was. It's nice to see a metal band win though instead of some boring pop artist.

We had this celebration day on friday. It was broadcast nationally. Over 80 000 people came over to celebrate the victory and hear Lordi play, me and my friends included. We dorve 200 kn to see him and then back, then in the morning I had a meeting from 8 am to 16 pm. I was kind of tired.

The President gave Lordi a bronze keyflag to honour his work and the victory. He then played through all his hits. A Guinness world record try was made, with over 80 000 people singing Hard Rock Hallelujah -karaoke. Latest record had been 50 000. 80 000 is more than any public or any at all happening/commotion in Finland had gathered. There were people of all ages. I can't really describe the feeling of proud that was in the air. I think, even more people were watching the show from tv.

We were pretty close to the stage and being a short boy, I could barely manage to see something from behind the tall helsinkians. We also took a few pictures, bloody hell, my friend has a camera but I had to tell him to take a picture all the time because he doesn't quite use it. He just has it in his hand. THen when he gets and idea, he takes one picture that'll end up very shaken and blurry. THis is me with my friend, taken by the other, forced to do that by me. My friend just bought a new camouflage army suit, God knows why, but hence the cap. http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/3919/dsc002992xq.jpg

But now I have to go... politics, you know...

We saw the Eurovision in Brighton. The only places where they show such a programme instead of some bottom-division football game are the most gayest of gaypubs. - Namely Bulldog. Don't go to Bulldog unless you're above 35, tattooed, bald and queerer than a whole Freddie Mercury fanclub.

Which is kind of funny; I lost my mobile phone during that night. The day after, I went to the policestation to report it stolen. When the officer asked me where it had happened, I replied: "Down at Bulldog, watching the Eurovision."
His boss, who was standing behind him, commented sardonically: "It takes a lot of courage to say that, son."

I was also there with my student friend (from Helsinki University of Technology). The show was unforgettable cause Lordi had really deserved the win of eurovision! 8)

We wasn't very close to the stage, but I had binoculars with me, and it gave me great help to see Lordi's show.

HARD ROCK HALLELUJAH!
