Any creative writers out there?

Forgive my tardiness, it's been a while since I was last here.

Anyway, I've been beavering away on a new website for creative writers - that is, those of you who write the odd short story, poem or script. Judging by some of the AGS game scripts I've done voice work for, I'm betting there's at least some would-be comedy scriptwriters out there.

Anyway, the site is called Great Writing (www.greatwriting.co.uk) and its a completely free community site (of course!). You can post your epics, and have others offer their reviews. Not exactly a forum like this one, although we do have those as well.

We're currently in a public beta phase, so I'm appealing to the more generous of you to come along, sign up and submit (and/or review) some work.

Go on - pretty, pretty, pretty please?

Oh, and we're also running a free writing contest where you can win a holiday in France.

There's quite a few poets here, as well as a few short story writers.
ProgZmax is a would be novellist, and the guy who made Larry Vales has a novel, too.  (And Her Life Will Be Set To Music, or something like that.  I'm thinking Phil Reed, but I'm not too certain. I'm sorry).
Evenwolf has done some comedy writing, too.  LGM has written some screenplays.
So yea, there's quite a few creative writers.  Whether they'll post or not, is unclear, tho.

I would post my script for a six part comedy show, however:

1. I wish to make money from it.
2. I still have to write it.

I have created many short storyes, but they all got lost (except one, and that one is a Ghost story)
i will post the ghost story if you want, however, there are few things you have to bear in mynd.

I used some parts from 5 days a Stranger in it, so don't judge on that anyway, enjoy:

He was running for his life, running away from his wife, and the grafeyard containing the flesh from his son.
It all started couple of years back, when his wife gave birth to a son, it was a very beautiful child but he had never wanted a son. But the wife gave birth to twins, and the birth, his wife died. It was a desease that killed her when she finished giving birth to her second son.
The father got mad about this. He kept the son in the basement and chained him to the wall and beat him and tortured him for 12 years. His son, Alex who he loved had always loved his other brother and helped him when he had been beaten almost to death. After 12 years of torturing, his father got back from the pub, he looked angry and Alex asked what was wrong.
"THAT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS" he answered.
the boy was scared to his dad, he was acting strange, he was drunk.
"i am going to kill that beast" he said.
"But what did he do dad, what did he do?"
"WHAT DID HE DO, you are asking me what he did? he killed you mother, he was a monster since he was born, and today i am going to finish him!"
"Please dad, don't do it, please don't kill him"
but he already walked away to the basement, when the child saw him, he got terryfyed, and there, his dad, his own dad tortured him and beated him to death.

"Stupid of me to do that" he thought as he was running away from the house. It was a dark night, the sky blocking the moon, and few stars in the sky. it was raining heavely on im and he forgot to take his cote, he was to busy to get out of there, out of the ghost house. Shortly after his death, strange things began happening in the house, at first it was hust small things that he barely noticed, but later it got worse.
His son had always gone to the graveyard where he was lying and came back acting strange. One night when he came back, he was crazy. He wasn't acting like himself, nothing like himself at all. He accused his dad for being insane, for torturing the son, and then he ran to the kitchen and came back with a knife and started walking thowards him. "I shall pay you for what you did to me" he said as he was walking quietly thowards him. He got scared and ran upstairs to the bathroom and locked the door.
He wated there, and waited and put his ear thowards the door to hear. Nothing. Then a blast came and a knife appeared next to him through the door, Alex was stabbing the knife on the door until it would break.
He went out throgh the window and climbed down but fell on his back. He went to the car but it didn't start and then he saw his son in the outdoor, with a big knife in his hand, shouting: "come back.. come back so i can kill you". He got terryfied and ran away, away thowards the city, 2 km away.

Goel, if you want c&c on that, rather post it in the critics lounge, or better yet, join the community which this thread advertises.
Either way, it would be good if you stated your age and mother language, so that people can base their judgement on that.

I try my strenghts in writing sometimes. I tried fantasy, sci-fi, criminal, thriller... I don't have any copies of my few short stories. I have finished one novel but I must say it was crap and I've lost it somewhere somehow. I wrote a few poems but I always felt more like prose. Still I registered at your forum and maybe I'll have something for you soon.

I've registered. Nothing to put up yet though. Most of my stuff is on paper, maybe I should get round to typing it into my comp...
