Heres a new game we can play. I call it WHO SAID THAT !?

The game works like this : I write a "Quote" from a movie, game or even music lerics.
Your job is to tell me who said that and in which movie, song or game...
Beleive me this can get tricky, If you guess right then its your turn next to write a "quote"

Lets begin. ill start with an easy one...
"So what are you supose to be a lion tamer?"

Farlander@work

This thread is out of place (it's in gen and it's an activity) plus hasn't been approved as an activity, plus is really unfair to those who have no access to the English versions of those films you're quoting.

Just my opinion.

And hey! I am back to AGS! :D

Ashen

It was in Competitions & Activities but got moved here, because it wasn't approved.

Farlander@work

Oh, I see... If it's not good enough for C&A it goes to gen gen... Cool!  ;D

It was moved here from there... And as far as unfair goes, I am sure the sentences in the foreign films say the
same things in a different langauge. Heck start your own thread but just remember this forum is the english ags forum.

Gee this last one is though No Idea Some clues ?

Ishmael

A bit off-topic but.. Here in Finland we have (this thing called reilu meininki and) the goodness of not dubbed movies. They're subtitled...
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

<Calin> Ishmael looks awesome all the time

I have no clue, but a quick Google search turned up a ton of really scary blogs... :o

Timosity

I sort of put that one in to stop any chance of the game continuing.

I made sure by seaching in google and not being able to find it.

it's pretty obscure, and you'd only have a chance of getting it if you are Australian

It's a quote from a song "Where am I now?" from one of my favourite 90's bands "The Sharp"

Here's an easier one

"Who said That !?"

Thanks Fmarais, I am new here and I didn't realised this forums were using English as the only lenguaje. I will put more care the next time...   ;)

Ok... stop sarcasm! :D

I think this game is quite stupid. I tried to tell it in polite maners, but it seems nobody has realised of the spirit of my complains. Anyway, I am not who to say what is stupid or not, if people just goes on playing, maybe it's not that stupid... People must be free to do what they want, while they do not bother the others, and I don't think nobody could be bothered by this.

But I keep that it is unfair to people who sees doubbed versions of the films. You say that the sense of the sentence/quote won't be altered with the translation... ha! I invite you to Spain! :)
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Andail

Farlander, mate, calm down :) This game is just an innocent pastime, not good enough to take place in the competition forum, but not lousy enough to be yelled at like that!
If a thread is bad, it'll die out or be taken care of by a mod.
