I had a problem blasting away the doors. I built together the parts of the bomb, but didn't include the timer. After I did this, i got stuck. I couln't add the timer anymore and had to load a savegame.

It was Version 1.1.

To make the bomb you need the powercell, the timer and the explosives. Use them all three on each other and there should be a timebomb. Use that on the blastwall.

I've been to the computer console and I need to cut the power off to reset its need for a password. I've been to all the rooms (including engine rooms behind hatches). I have the explosives, patches and a power cell. What do I do now?

In the engine room go to the panel with buttons and read the memo with intructions next to it. When you’re half done and fed up with the manual, use the switches on the right. That will kill the power.

so now at the computer consol one of the engines is dead. I went to both engines downstairs but don't see anything I can do. What I do next?

see the hole in the wall opposite the engine room when you entered the left hatch? You can find a key there.

"Find a key there...." ? Look at the captain. Search  him. He has the key of his footlocker in his pocket. With that you can get the password to unlock the computer. It's in his diary in his footlocker.

removed the blast walls again and went downstairs there. Take the left hatch and walk until the end. From there you can go through the hole made by the 'dude'. You find Ellie and the captain dead. Use the captain. It's not a pixelhunt, just put the hand icon on his body. That should result in a key.

I left the computer console to shut the power off, I went down the elevator in the next room first and investigated the explosion, now when I go back up the elevator some zombie thing kills me before I have chance to do anything.
