Maniac Mansion Mania: Episode 40 (spoiler warning)

Ok, I'm completely stuck here...

I've gotten up on the roof, collected the nest and its contents, used the key ring seemingly everywhere I could and I assume I have to do something with Dave's Dad with the nest as a toupee but it's too scratchy and the game won't let me put glue on his head either. If this isn't an option, can somebody give me a hint on where to find the remote or how to proceed? I'm stumped.

I have the glue, envelope, stamp, spice rack, keys, purse, nest, $20 bill, hand mirror, blank paper, pen, chair. It appears Mr. Miller would like his hair back and I'm also guessing I need to mail a letter, but I don't know what to write. Any hints?

Use the glue on the hair, then use the result on Dave's dad.
And check back at the cellar door from time to time. Dave and Sandy might be able to help you.

I can't seem to get anywhere with this game

I have glue, stamp, chair, envolope and mirror. A bird took the keys onto the roof but I can't figure out how to get there or make any more progress.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

Pick up the chair in Dave's room and put it on the lawn in front of the house. Try to climb up; Dave should mention he needs something else. Go to the kitchen and pick up the spice rack, then use it to climb up to the roof.
