Please anyone help!
I can't make any spell. I have all ingredients but can't put anything into any container or mix anything. E.g I pick small fither and drag it to bowl but it dowsn't work.
How do I make spells??

Open the book, then right mouse click until you get a 'Cast' icon. Press it over the spell, and if you have the correct ingredients you will make the spell, otherwise, you die.

How can I show the mirrior to Medusa? I stand face away while she approaches but I always get frozen by her looks ;(

I have read the postings here and no one seems to have had the same problem I have been dealing with.  I have been in the lab, read the spell book, gotten rid of M. (for the time being), collected everything possible (I now have 38 points) but I can't go back up the stairs because of the cat.  Any clues
would be appreciated.

And about the ship: Unfortunately, you have to wait for hours, but when you are close to the shore, you only have seconds to react. Save every 30 minutes and do something else during the waiting time. And when you missed the moment of landing (I waited for about two hours), go back to the last save and stare on the monitor and wait  until somebody shouts "land hoo". Also in the original game, the travel on the ship took a long time,  only that you could accelerate the timers (game speed). And I also missed the function of the map on the ocean which indicated in Sierras game when you were close to the shore.

hmm I did everythinbg to do in llewdor, got rid of mannanan and casted all the spells but for some reason I can't give the money to the pirate so I can sail to daventry... why?

It must have something to do with seperating the mixture and putting it into his ears but how the heck to I do that?

if you still didn't find the way out: if you are at the top left cave entrance, enter it and you will find yourself on the top right entrance. Use the walk icon to climb the rocky wall and go left and then down to the entrance in the middle. You should end up a bit right of the entrance. And save very often, Gwydion is not a good mountain climber. The entrance in the middle leads to the lower left entrance. From there, use the walk icon to climb the wall and go to the entrance in the lower middle. This entrance leads to the one at the lower right and to the path.

Hey all.  What am I supposed to do with the fly wings?  There is one walkthrough I read where I'm supposed to use them to listen to the bandits inside their hideout but the closest I can get is flying up the tree trunk but not into the hideout itself.

When can I prepare the spells?

I have everything I need except the stone. I have the wand. When I go down into the dungeon and try to cut the cactus, it says "No"; if I use the cactus on the knife, it says "You can't do that yet."

Do I have to collect all of the ingredients before I can prepare the spells, or do I have to wait for Manannan to be doing something in particular? At the moment, he is sleeping.

When can I prepare the spells?

I've found out how to do this. To answer my own question, in case it helps anyone else:

Once you have all the ingredients for a spell, you need only make sure they are in your inventory (and not under the bed) and then click on the spell in the book with the "CAST" cursor. You don't actually need to carry out the actions described in the spell.

Every time I cast a spell in the dungeon, it works on me and I die. So that's not the way to do it.

I can't prepare the spells in the dungeon, in the house, outside, or at the bottom of the mountain, and if I cast them in the dungeon, they act on me and I die.
