You are supposed to cast the LAFFER spell on her but I was trying to help somebody else just past there. I had a game saved just at the point before casting the spell and when I tried casting the LAFFER spell on her I kept getting the message "this spell only works on humans" which is so strange because it worked for me when I was playing the game

Well I am finished with snowy area and have finished talking to Aknava. The WT says to go back to the river. I have tried and tried every which to get back to the area of the river and can't for the life of me find the way out of the snowy area. HELP Me please!

I remember wandering around there for hours too lol. As far as I remember there is a screen in the snowy area somewhere where you can go South and it takes you into the brown province. Its just finding that screen lol. Then you keep going west and then south. Just kinda work your way over and down.When you reach the crossroads its east to Weigil's house and the river is east of that.

Could you be a bit more specific for me? Right after speaking with Aknava, I can go south. Where should I go from there? I keep going back to Plee and to Al. Can't fine south exit to get away from this place.

Joyce - wanted to let you know that I got an answer from Alkis himself on the Gameboomers forum. Now I have another problem - for some reason I DO NOT have the dip net from Plee. Replayed this part and still not dip net. Any ideas what could be wrong here?

somebody else asked that question earlier, looks like maybe you are having the same problem so I will just tell you the same thing - the dip net is on the ground beside Plee, the net is grey so kinda blends in with the snow but it is there, you have to pick it up

Well you can't have been reading through all the 20 pages of this thread because if you had you would have seen that I had exactly the same problem when I tried to program the Obe marble. I kept getting the message "that would be pointless" yet everybody else seemed to have got past that point. I had to end up sending my saved game to the creator of the game, he sent it back to me just past this point and thats the only way I was able to go on playing the game.

Joyce - I do recall reading about that problem where you had to send the saved game to Aklis. Could you maybe send me your saved game so I don't have to wait too long for Aklis to send it to me? Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

I am not a member like you so I don't know how to get your email address. If you don't want to post it on here then you send me an email, you can get mine as I am a guest and I will be happy to send you the saved game. When Aklis sent it back to me he said he couldn't find anything wrong and that it worked for him but it sure wouldn't work for me but he got me past that point, saved it and sent it back.
