You're still stuck here eh, I loaded up a saved game just after I got the rod to see what I could do to help you. Then I couldn't find the hatch, its been so long from I played. I finally found it. Are you sure you are at the correct hatch? its the one when you look at it, it says it looks different than the rest of the hatches. There is yellow grids on the floor as well. All I had to do was put the edible thingie (the red triangle thing) on the floor in front of the hatch and then the little timer thingie came on and the rod was used automatically and trapped the aliens hand. I saved it there. I don't know whats happening with you. If you can't get it to work I could let you have the saved game. Let me know.

I seem to have a bug or something. I have 12 spells now, I went into my inventory to look at my new spells and change the gift into something more appropriate, and I can't get out!
I click on exit and my inventory closes, but the spell list is still there. I try to exit that, and my inventory comes back. Round and round! Help??

I remember having the same problem and the walkthrough said "north of glers" or something like that.

It is in a few screens before you get to the lava area (I guess it's the one after the room with Kilkliklik) Anyway, it's a big scrolling screen, you see that when you go east, and you can also scroll to the north and south (not that clearly to be seen). Go north and you'll see some snow on top of the mountains. You can exit there to the snowy area.

ok well i know u guys are ahead of me.. but i just started and i cant find the knife u guys talk about and i dont understand how to get the cord off the wall... any help.. plz b specific im kinda slow.. thanks

the knife is in the bedroom, you have to sharpen it on the steps outside the house, then use it to cut the rope

Glass can be cut with a diamond. Now if you know what a diamond is made of, maybe you have some item you can turn into a diamond...

Great game, best I have played in a long time,Ã,  but I was really stuck so I decided to try the walkthrough. I couldn't open it because I don't have "Word" so I put it on a floppy and took it to another computer, opened it and saved it in "Wordpad". So anybody that is having this problem email me and I will gladly send it to you.

When you first enter the mansion there is a room very near the entrance, I can't remember exactly where try moving your curser up and look for exit,  thats where the prism is, its sitting on a table.

I had much the same problems, but I got the walkthrough password from Alkis, and that helped me whenever I got stuck too long. So ask the creator...
