You won't be able to get past the spider in this chapter. As for the coal... you need to use a 'special' spell on something you are carrying.

I am having so much trouble making the bomb that I don't even know what I am going to blow up when I make it.  Is that what I use to open the trap door in the bathroom???  Everytime I put in the glycerin, it blows up.  Also, sometimes it lets me put the icecubes in the bowl before I put the glycerin in and sometimes it doesn't.  HELPPPPPPPPPP

I've opened the trapdoor, have all the ingredients, including the icecubes. Also have: orange juice; bowl w/screw; saw; catfood; crystal; rope; screwdriver; magnifying glass; pills; visa; key; knife; clock; bandaid; ball; corn; and vodka. Tried using magnifying glass on glycerin, but it doesn't work. Help!

I have the same situation. And I feel reeeeaallly stupid, since I've been trying to find the answer for a few days. I tried combining everything with everything

I was told that I need to solve another puzzle first to find the other room that never gets dark, but I've tried clicking almost everything with every item in almost every room (I'm serious, I've done about 6 or 7 rooms at least). PLEASE point me in a solid direction anybody... thanks sorry.

after looking at the walkthrough it says that when I am trying to use the boat but am sent back by the force field that I am supposed to use the retraf spell on the boat.Ã,  The spell can only be used on me, and I have used it over and over but cannot get the object I am supposed to be getting.

I probably shouldn't be telling you this but,,,,,,, When you downloaded this game, if you go to the download page, you will also see the walkthrough icon for this game also.  The code word to get it is Bijii ........so I was told.....

I could never have figured out by myself how to set up the prism to find the dropper for the bomb mix without the cheat sheet in the walkthrough.   Hope I am not spoiling it for anyone,  I try not to use it because I like this game and want it to last, but when I really have tried everything and nothing works, then I go to it.

I opened the trapdoor, I've gotten the sawdust. I figure I have to open that concrete door with the plastic bomb, but I need the dropper. I've tried all the items I have on that door just in case. When I try to use the bowl on the door, it says it isn't ready yet (which is why I figure I need to get the other door). So I'm really stuck.

Never mind, I finally got it for those of you who were like me and not getting it :

You have to open the trapdoor in the bathroom (which you probably know) after you do that, you go down to the final room (the one with the cement door) look at the windows (the have daylight) and there is also a metal plate or something, which you need to put the dish and screw on (combine the dish with a hole in it with the screw and bolt). The put the prism on it. there's your beam.

You need to use the RETRAF spell on the boat *before* the force field sucks you in, not when you're back to the shore. You have to be in the same screen with the force field for the spell to work.

Notice that "slippery" means that a *liquid* is under your feet, and you do have a puzzle that can help you get rid of liquids.. it's just not the right color.

Sorry Alkis, its just that every room looks like it has daylight to me, and Natalia didn't mention that that room was bright with daylight. I really like the game, that part was just really confusing.

I need to fool the 'Roman', but I don't know how. The WT says I have to go into the nurse's office (and drink coke), but she's always at the window and I can't go in there. I did everything else that was said in the WT.

When you're in the corridor (where you can see the nurse's face), you can exit to either the SW or the SE. If you exit to the SE, the nurse will not be there (for a short while) when you return and you will be able to enter her office if you move fast. Sorry, I guess I forgot to mention that in the WT.
