recently, all the games i've tried to download ask me to insert a disk into drive a. previously, i was just able to download them to my hard drive and since some of the games are too large to fit on a disc anyhow i don't understand. can anyone help?

Try to use the install program or the setup file so they will run in your hard drive.

Okay, here's what I think is happening.Ã,  (I could be wrong, I don't know, I'd have to see it.)Ã,  If you're getting a box that says "Please insert a disk into drive A and try again" with a choice to either cancel or retry, try clicking cancel.Ã,  From there it should give you the little "save as" pop-up box and you just adjust the box's settings to wherever you want the file to go.
If you've already tried that maybe someone else knows what's going on, but that was the only solution I could think of right away.
Good luck with this.Ã,  I know how frustrating it can be.Ã,  Bear with it; I'm sure you'll figure it out soon.

If they're old games, check files by extension, then try all files with extensions .exe, .com and .bat.

That's all I can figure out. Sorry for not being more helpful.

DAMN!

Have you a good antivirus? It can be a virus.
