The map gives you directions of where to go room-to-room from that point inside the cave.

Use the eye icon to look at the map in the cave and follow those directions. It's put in your inventory as a marker- it has no in-game use.

You should follow the map litterary from the map room,

aka head south out of the cave first, then proceed with the next direction written on the map.

The last entrance is hidden, and won't be visible to you.

A newer version of Quest for Yeti is now available to download on it's game page, with a few things fixed, and a complete walkthrough added in the zip folder.
