Thank you for the walkthrough. However, I cannot complete it because I cannot do the panel and toolbox puzzles due to my profound deafness. I was hoping that someone had the definite number of random combinations for those puzzles so I could try them all, instead of going through infinite combinations.

Hi again.

I don`t know if the combinations change every new start. So here are some tricks that should help. (quite the same as in the other topic)

Panel: This is quite the same as the game Mastermind, you might know it.

Spoiler

On the left hand, you'll find the numbers, on the right hand the display (upper one), the enter key (lower left) und reset (lower right).
You'll need a combination consisting of 3 numbers. A different beep in the end gives the right position of a number.

Strategy:
So enter 111, press enter key, 222, press enter key , ... 000, enter key. After each one you'll hear a beep. Sometimes there´s another beep at the end (or two beeps if the number is used twice). So you`ll get the 3 used numbers (for example the used numbers 6,8,0 would cause a second beep when entering 666, 888 and 000). Now you need the right place. You can either try every possible combination ( 680, 860, 068,...) or find the right place by using an incorrect number (844, 484, 448; one of these should give a beep and you know the correct place of the 8.) repeat and finally enter the code

Lock: The usual one... :-)

Spoiler
Strategy:
Sometimes you'll hear a klick that´s different than the other. (Just turn about 15 times in one direction and you'll see. So turn right until that klick appears, then left, klick, then left again, klick, then right again. This should do the trick...

I had the same problem when writing the WT. Not that I'm deaf but my soundcard didn't work (same effect ;-) So I had to play it on another system in order to find the solution. The codes of the safe and the toolbox are different each time and chosen random (a.f.i.k.).

The producer might have given some more visual clues when programming but then the effect would have been less. You play a blind person so you have to use other senses. If you're (partialy) deaf and blind, the handicap (maybe I should say challenge) get's bigger.

[Edit] If you like I can send you the savegame. Send yours to me and I'll 'update' it to after the part that needs to be unlocked.
