The Devil's Shroud.

As the game is very long, it's better to indicate what part of the game you are playing.
There are former threads regarding The Devil's Shroud, but they aren't totallly reliable, as the game has been slightly changed lately.

I played the first three parts of the game before
Do you recommend we should play them all once again?

Well, the game has been slightly changed since the first release, but I think you can go on with the last part without playing the former ones again. It can be useful to read Galina's book. You can find it in Leo's inventory.

So far, and I'm halfway part 3, there aren't many changes. Nothing in particular, except for the dialogs with people which I think are now more annoying than before. Other than that, nothing worth replaying if you have already played the first 3.

Hi,

I'm on part I of your game and I can't figure out how do download the image from the digital camera. I took a pic of the symbol in the cell. I try to use it on the pc but nothing happens. Could you give me a hint?

When I go south of the room with the christening font, I see words that say "come with me" (or something like that) and the game crashes. I tried it several times with the same result. Is this a known problem? Is the game playable despite this?

If it helps, the message is "room 7 script 404"

- Start the computer.
- Start the graphics application.
- Click on A (acquire)
- When asked to select source, your inventory will open (or open yourself if not)
- Select the camera from your inventory and the picture will appear.

Part 1. I haven't really gotten very far.

All I did was speak to the abbot who tells me to speak to Father Giuseppe. I left the building and went south and it crashes each time

In part 4
I skimmed the Galina's book several times while I was playing
but then suddenly when I wanted to read the book again It could not open and just said NOT NOW, then the same with my notepad
Is it a bug or what? 
I don't know what to ask the bartender because of this   :'(

I need a little more help

I've found the info on the cult but when I try to talk to the priest it says I should do more research. I have been, I think, to every room. There is a room with a torch that is missing but I can't bring the one from my apt. there. i've tried to search for the cult on the internet but nothing comes up. I've talked to all three priests with combinations of words about everything but, except for the one that I need to gather more info for, the character keeps saying I don't want to talk about it. Sorry for all the text but any help is appreciated.

Did you talk to the nervous priest, father Eldo, already? He can tell you more but he needs to calm down first.

And indeed, the torch from your room won't work since it runs on batteries. You're thinking in the right direction though..you need to make one. But only do so after you've spoken to Eldo.

To make the torch:

At home, in the bathroom you can find bandages.
At the abbey where you parked your car is a stick in the grass on the left.
Looking at the floor in the room with the torches, there's an oily patch.
Combine these and use your lighter...

I could use the tranquilizers from the apt. but I can't take them. I've tried to talk to Endo with different combination of words but he doesn't respond. When I try to talk about Endo to the others I get nothing. I'm thinking maybe I missed something in a previous conversation with the priests?

In the matter of reply 4, I think I'll have to play again the first part to understand the problem.
In the matter of reply 9, I'm sorry but there's a bug with Galina's book. I've fixed it and I've uploaded again the fourth part.

Take the tranquilizer from your bathroom, put it in the chalice from the fountain and open the window to make it hot.

I can't get it to work

I can't take the tranquilizers from home. He always says he doesn't need them. I see a chalice in the abbots room but when I try to take it nothing happens at all. I tried earlier with the same result. I don't see a chalice at the fountain. The interactive spot are the stone on the fountain and the tap. The font too. I can't talk to the abbot about anything without it saying I should talk to him later with more info. The other priest doesn't respond to my queries. Is it something I should do prior to the tranquilizer? My last actions were comparing the symbols from the room and book.

Did you inspect the crime-scene thoroughly?  Talk to everyone about 'anselmo' Then make sure you get some evidence.

If it doesn't make sense, tell me what's in your inventory.
