Has anyone played this one? I am so stuck. I can't get passed the man in the hotel and none of my spells seem to work......HELP!!!

Or maybe I just don't get it.

I got the spell to work on the guard but I'm having trouble with the pile of rocks and lamp......any advice?

Okay, I got a little further.....does anyone know if the spells can be used only once or can they be used multiple times?
