It's O.K. thanks. Figured it out and finished the game.

maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to pick up the dog toy. Ã, I tried clicking on it for like thousands of time, but all I get is the same message. Ã, I can't pick it up no matter how I click my mouse or press the keyboard.

Can someone please help me?

Because game is storyline driven, you can't pick up the dog toy until you try to open the postoffice door and the dog growls at you.  At that point, your character suggests looking for a distraction for the dog and you'll be able to pick up the toy.

So, there's esomething I need help in that even the in-game Hints don't help me with

I'm in the wind generator tower and the hints say I should look for tracks only I don't see any. The next hint talks about the beach but I don't know how to get to the beach. Need help figuring both out.

to the right of the tower, by the view where you see the car, there is a hotspot for footprints.  That will lead you to the beach.

looked at the crossbars and both of mine are in the furthest down position....maybe this will help you?  also the inner ring is facing to the left and there is two half circles on it.

2. Is there anything I should do (so far, couldn't find anything) with the working panflutes (the ones making sounds)?

So you actually have the two stones from the Garden and Castle.  In the monestary, what you want to do it play two notes on the panflute that match the same two notes when the bells are rung.  It can be a little tough.  If you can't figure it out, use the in-game hints...it tells you which notes to play on the panflute.
