Wheres My Hat Ma?

ok thanks now i assume the shiny pitchure is the one in building with the hat on the outside......but it doesnt let me grab it.......i have 3 leaves and the guy has the glue smothered on him plus the priest card.

The Inn Keeper said he knows someone who accepts pictures in payment. The Guard is a little slow and will accept the Priest Card , 'A Signed Picture' as a 'Shiny Pitcher'.

I am in England, met the Queen & King, they asked if I saw their kids, and I can only ask how may I serve and may I leave.

Got corn on hangman and the crows are all over him.

Fixed the Fool's cane but he tells me to keep it for awhile.
Don't know what to do with it.

The princess is making out in the woods. Says she lost her clothes. Got stuck on a floating goat (Emily I presume).

The priest doesn't drink anymore and does nothing else.

The bartender is still saying the same things as when I first went to his bar.

I have 3 leaves as the hermit won't let me have the 4th (last) one.

A few hints would be very helpful.

And Wretched, this is a wonderful game.  I think you have done a great job when you added the 'skip' option.  Thank you so much.

You need to get a snail. Use the Jester's stick to get a snail. The snail will be on the rock in the river in the forest OR on the stone Arch. Use snail to get the last leaf from the Hermit.

Can anyone help 

My snail found all 8 pieces of paper from the bush but trying to get them to "click" into place to make a card is more than excessively frustrating. I'm about to give up on the whole game because of this... is there some sort of game bug? Or is there some special technique? It does not make any sense why this should be as hard as it is... or as tedious.

Please help if you can.

There shouldn't be any difficulty in completing the card. Take care to place the bottom row of pieces over the black line that is already on the card as an aid to placement. Then the rest should drop into place, once in place you cannot pick up the pieces so you can suffle the others about to fit.

Thank you Wretched, but it just will not work for me.

I have the two base pieces of the castle standing on what I assume is "ground" level, meaning they are resting on top of the black line.

Not a single piece of this puzzle will snap into place. This so frustrating

Can anyone tell me what to do next?
I got all the pieces and put together the tower card, I put the snail in the keyhole and he said "ahh, ohh, etc" then he said "eureka!" but now he can't tell Ma what he found because he can't talk. She takes him from the keyhole and says he looks excited, but, what next?

Wretched, just wanted to let you know this is a really cute game. Got a kick out of it. Thanks for all the thoughtful help you've given everyone too. Certainly helped me to read through the questions and hints.

(Oh, and after the tower card puzzle incident, I made sure to do the second one right side up!)
