I've searched this thread for the answers to my questions but they aren't here so...

I'm in the old england, found a snail but a crow ate it when I tried to get to the leaf, I found the bottle but gave it to the bartender, was I not supposed to do that?  I have a bowl, but it has porridge in it still.  Am I hoplessly stuck and unable to go on or is there a way to continue in spite of my mistakes?

I have gotten to the point where I can see the hat, have the spell to control it, but when I use the spell all I can do is move it around, and I don't know what to do from here..  I have gotten the magician's tarot card and the 2 cards in the bush..

I am so far behind you guys and I've looked at the posts for help but I'm still stuck early in the game so any help would be welcome cos I'm dying to move on in this wonderful game,

I've matched the colours and symbols in the cave, got the flint and taken the post but I need sunglasses and have'nt a clue where to find them I've read things about an egg, opening a staircase, but in the cave once the roof falls down there's nothing I can do.

Put the egg in the sand outside the cave and go up the mountain then drop the flint onto the egg

In the bush with the snail...

I have the card piece from the screen to the left of start, and the next three on the path. I make the drip fall, but when I go down to the gap with the card on the other side, the branch isn't wet. I can't go anywhere else, or escape from the bush. I've re-downloaded and started over, but I still have the same problem.

you just need to smear the berries on the red speckled square to make it a solid red.

Read my post just before your first one. No one ever replied to it and I never found a way past that part of the bush. Once I catch up to you I can probably help you again.

Obad, got past my last question. For You

go to the top where the drip is. Move first leaf. Go down and move the third and fourth leaves, skipping the second. At the gap place, you need to chew the leaf not move if you're stuck there.

If you need help on the paper near the end where you jump out of the bushes

turn the leaf so the paper is pointing upwards then go back to the water slide and you'll fall on that paper.

Don't know if I'm even posting this right, I sure hope so.
I'm completely stuck on how to get the corn. Princess & Prince home. Hat in circle in stone area. Got hangman covered in glue but can't get the corn. Help!!

Okay, here's the answer to your question:

You don't give the guy a "Shiny Pitcher" you give him a Signed Picture.  Try getting the Priest to sign your Hierophant card and give that to the corn guard.  Though you learn that you'll need another card, that's the only way to get the corn.
