Hi guys, im making a fold down bed animation and i thought i would post it to see if it looks (remotely) realistic.  I would like some comments and criticism about it please :P

Double sized: (looks a bit wrong)

Thanks :)

Looks good, and it's quite smooth-looking for so few frames. But there is one thing: Unfortunately I don't have a gif-animation program here, so I can't view it frame by frame. But there's just something wrong with the frame just before the one where you see the top surface of the bed. I don't know if the perspective is wrong or if it's too big a jump between two frames, but it looks like the top surface just pops out of nowhere in the next frame.

Esseb

Yeah, you forgot to draw the top surface in frame 3.

Nice... I think the draws that fold out underneath look wrong, they're too flat.
When I was a little kid we had a sand box. It was a quicksand box. I was an only child... eventually.

you could post a frame by frame slideshow so we can tell you the good and bad points in every frame.
by far just looking at it I think it looks good, on the animation side, but in the graphics side the texture of the bed is kind of plane isn't it? you could add some texture to the matress (is that the word?) and it would look better.
and i want to see the frames because i think there's something strange in (i think) the 5th frame, but i can't focus on it this way.
Hope it helps

Thanks for all the comments so far

Dagooh - Here are the frames (sorry bout the screwed up image)

I think the perspective on the bed is kinda off...

dagooh

I think the perspective in the 4th, 5th and the 6th frame is off. you should try looking at a box of cigarretes or something in that shape and copy the perspective, that helps a lot (at least to me).
keep working on it, it's going to look great  :)

the animation looks good and rock on for doing it instead of just open and closed frames that alternate

it is a hard thing to visualize so i made this little example maybe it'll help
