Need help finding a game

Does anyone remember an old adventure game revolving around Haley's Comet and a man who went insane after looking at it? I seem to recall it had some connection with 'Call of Cthulu', but the name of the game escapes me. Sorry for the vague descriptions and all, but that's all I remember.

The game you're looking for is Shadow of the Comet no doubt.

But there was also released another game based on Lovecraft's Call of Cthulhu series - Prisoner of Ice.
