(okay maybe not, and if this topic has been done before feel free to kick me in the nuts and ignore it)

Okay, this is weird, I sometimes get adventure game cravings. Games that I played years ago and loved and just had to play again.
I even remarked to myself about six years ago that I could probably play the Curse of monkey island over and over again without ever getting bored of it because I just loved wandering around in that crazy pirate world. But just a few moments ago I had a revelation (probably not an AGS community member first, but a revelation anyhow) I had a real urge to play Aarons epic Journey, the first or second pick of the month since I joined over a year ago.
What the #$@! . . Aarons epic journey, are you mad, I thought to my self  . .and then suddenly realized how much I enjoyed playing it.
Any way cut a fricken long story short - is it possible that I am gaining AGS nostalgia . . I definately got warm fuzzies.

The question that I am poseing (even though you probably couldant tell from the sentimental drab I just spewed) is :

Could it be possible that AGS as a whole could someday become cult?

epiloggg.
There are heaps of new people (okay not heaps) travelling through these pages every day and even if they are not making games they are most certainly playing them. Will these games mean as much to them as old sierra classics have done to so many of us in the past.

(probably not but at least post a game that you played a while ago and already get the urge to play again even if it wasn't so profesh as a LA game, like that one where you are locked in the attick with your insane step father or maybe that one where you are a mum flying around in a ufo like space ship bribing people with cheese . . .)

Games don't need to be commercial to be good.

Yeah, it's a photo fun from Mittens 2002, where Chris is standing outside a church, and the sign says Jesus Chris(t), but Chris blocked the "t" :P

He's actually the real christ though :P

Thanx Jannar - that's kinda what I meant. But thats us talking about us, what about in a larger sphere - you know, in the long run?

(p.s. Chris Jones is bigger than jesus as jesus couldn't script for shit!)

It's an interesting question - I guess only time will tell.

But I think with any good game, if you haven't played it in a while you get the urge to go back and play it again, so it's not all that surprising, I guess.

Behold! For Jesus Chris is surrounded by a glowing nimbus of holy light!

Or maybe the film is just over exposed.  I'll leave that to the philosiphers.
Sssshhhh!!! No sex please, we're British!!- Pumaman

i believe it was probably a rainy and cloudy day, but chris just parted the clouds with his special powers to allow the sun to shine through. It looks like he opened up the heavens.

Nah, it's all special effects, man. Just ask m0ds and Chris.

...and to answer Mr. Frisby... People who are using another engine hates us (At least I've got a feeling of it). They seem to get the wrong idea, and that we *attract and steals* members or something....?

Ey? Where'd you get that idea - I've certainly seen no evidence of it.
