I've just turned into a sheep in the cyclop's cave. I fall asleep, then as I'm leaving, it seems that he smells my human breath and eats me. I THOUGH that eating the hay would do the trick, but it doesn't. What now, then?

You have the right idea but you also need to make the Cyclops think that one of the sheep is a human.
