How to delete characters

Hi there, I'm new in the community and in developing games with AGS, first question, how can I completely delete characters? This stupid standard character called ROGER is getting me crazy. Thank you for your help!

Don't delete him ... just make your own character over top of him.  You can completely change it to your own character.

Thank you for your fast reply, but my problem is: I have to many of them and I need to delete one of them, I don't like unorganized lists with obsolete stuff *g*... so how can I get this char out of this list? and, by the way, how can I delete unused views? I think this is the same problem as described above, obsolete entries in the list

Unfortunately, you cannot delete views or characters in AGS right now. I'm not sure if this is on the to do list or not.

In any way the lack of deleting characters, views etc. is for reason. Imagine you created many characters then wrote your scripts. Thus if you delete some characters now AGS will not be able to track it and some strange errors can occur. Just for reference.
