Thats a sprite I made a while ago and I still can't figure out how to fix it. He is supposed to be sitting on a chair, hence the legs. Anyway, any suggestions would be welcome.

Erwin_Br

I think his legs are too short. They should be longer than his chest.

First of all i really suck at drawing people, so I'm just gonna point out the obvious.

1. Move his arm to the left untill his shoulders are aligned with his neck.
2. Bend his kees a bit more.
3. He looks like he has two thumbs because the smallest finger grows
out of the side of the fist, and appears a bit crushed.
4. He has no mouth
5. Look at his legs, they seem diferent in shape (the knees)

Hope this helped. ;)

One of the most common omissions in character drawing is a lap (I'm very guilty of it).  Think about it - no one's legs attach directly to there torso.  There is a triangle shape there.  If you could put some suggestion of that in too, that would probably look cool.

Also, his back leg is much longer than his front.  The height should be reversed to force perspective a bit, making the longer than the back.

Coming soon - tutorial on drawing the lap.

Layabout

He has no arse and is out of proportion. GIVE HIM SOME ARSE!!!

Squinky

Just draw a crappy guide chair and work him around it. This is just a quick thingy I did to show ya. This guy dosen't have much of a lap though guys, his guts in the way...

Vel

Here is the chair he is supposed to be sitting on:

Redwall

The chair seems to be at a different perspective from the villager.

Looks nice Vel. The stool is definitely at a different angle. How goes the game?

Vel
