it is a nice game but i am stuck already. How get i rid of the rat in the kitchen. Does somebody know??

I'm also stuck.
But I know how to get a rat.
You need to go to shop with horse.  
There is rat poison at shelves.
It's not hard.
But I don't know how to get wolf away.  
Would somebody PLEASE help me?

I don't know how to deal with the wolf...maybe Sammy should cook the rat (how?) and give it to the wolf.

Maybe Sammy must realize the new painting to obtain a new item first.

There are 2 ways to get the rat.

Method #1:

You can poison the rat with the rat poison at the Market.  This is ok, and you can still win the game if you do this.  However, it's not the preferred method, as Sammy might want an unpoisoned rat.

Method #2:

You can make a rat trap.  bad days, you almost have it.  Put the cheese in the book, and then get the rat poison from the market.  Open the rat poison, and there will be a bit of string attached.  You can use the string on the book & cheese and then you'll have a rat trap.  Use the trap on the rat and you can kill the rat without poisoning it.

As for what to do with the wolf:

You have to get down in the dungeon first.  The dungeon is underneath the main hall.  You'll need to open the trap door to get down there.

What is the brick wall about. I tried to bash it with the hammer and climb it with the ladder but no luck. Also, Farmer Butcher Bakersmith is pretty cool but if I have to get one more thing for him I will scream.............

I have the paint made, but i can't reach the canvas in the dining room. I've tried the ladder but it's no use. i've tried everything, and have gone everywhere. help!

Ok, getting the painting in the dining room seems to be the current topic

Here's how to get it done:

First, you make paint.  Use the oil on the bowl, then use the flour (from the market) on the bowl of oil.  Next, use the flowers that you got at the well on the bowl.  This makes paint.  You'll need a palette to put the paint on before you can use it.  Hmm, that tray from the Party Hall looks like a palette (it's even got a thumb hole).  Now to get up to the canvas in the dining room.  Well, Sammy doesn't want to get the floor messed up, so put the tarp down on the dining room floor (get the tarp from the attic).  Then use the ladder on the tarp and climb up to the canvas.  If you have the paintbrush you can use it on the canvas to paint the picture!  Whew!

to open the trap door you will need to complete the task that the ghost has asked you to do first, then he will give you something to help

the ghost needs some chains...

you can find some "metal pieces" in the music room. give it to the blacksmith and ask for high quality chains ("wait" option).

Jane was right...and not: if you give cheap chains to the ghost...he won't give you the key...I was stuck...so I started again the game and chose the good quality chains...but I think/hope that there's another way to obtain the key.

Someone found the secret puzzle?

You can still complete the game even if you give the premade chains to the ghost.

Just use the hammer on the ghost's box.  You'll get the key that way.
