What does BTW mean?

Anyway, maybe it's a corrupt file? I dunno.

Calavera

BTW means "by the way"
I also have a MIDI problem. I get no sound at all when playing Mid files.
MP# and other formats work fine, but MID just doesn't play any sound at all...
Does anyone had this problem?

Are you both using the latest version of AGS, and do you have at least DirectX 8.1? You can get DirectX9.0b from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/

What if you play the second midi in the first room, does it sound ok then?

It can be the same reason as in that thread http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=10671 Could you try to play another midi file?

I think I know the answer. Once I took one of my games that I finished to my friend's house and when it ran the music didn't run at all (it was midi)

So I went to winsetup.exe (it was a win game) and changed the sound thingeys and then they worked!

Miracle!!!

Just checked - seems fine to me!

Have you tried different music/sound settings in setup?

Another trick: what if you stop the music once the player leaved that room with the door:

on player leaves room:

StopMusic();
