Guy Liar 40% complete - website really is done now! - need a midi writer!

Okay, I know i have never posted anything about this before but i wanted to make sure i kew what i was doing. This is my first game as a member of anything other than the ROn community so please be lenient.

The basic story is a guy, conveniently named guy, needs concert tickets. he has no mone and needs to get some. this may sound quite ordinary to you and it did to me so i added a twist. you can pick up absolutley NO inventory. you must complete the game by lying to variuos people. The engine is similar to that of sam n max. instesad of choosing exactly what the charater says you just choose a type of response. In my game the choices are, heinous lie, passive, absolute truth.

Another thing i put in is the gullible meter. If you stand close enough to another chracter, it will tell you how gullible they are. so lets say you need to leave the house, yhou stand near your mum and the the gullible meter tells you not to lie. You choose the corect type of response and you get out of the house. however. yoou will not be able to say the correct lie unil you have gathered informaiton form other charcters. I thought it was an original concept stay posted to find out more. Screenies coming!

Did you by any chance read the interview with Captain Mostly in A?
If not, you should, and kudos to you for deciding to go outside the standard adventure game formula. I can't wait to see how this plays.

If there's no inventory, where will the player put his concert ticket then?

Yeah, the ticket? It wi;ll go in his pocket. You will not have tp use it like an invemtory item you will show t automatically when it is asked for you know? Thanks guys.
Would people be put off by a cartoony style? my graphics suck and therefore i have made the game like a cartoon. If you don't like it well..tough. You're gettin it (just t give you warning.)

EDIT: I hadn' read the interview and now i have. That is what i was going for. A solveable but original idea

EDIT2: Does anyone know a good free host with free ftp acess? i need it to upload my site.
