I have tried to put the macaroni in microwave and then using it on joystick but it does not work.
I have also tried to open the cabinet in the dining room but it is locked.  I just keep going up and down but get nothing.
Is there a walkthrough somewhere?

I must be close to the end of the game, I still have the green liquid in mug and the key to cabinet.  But still looking for diary.  I've been walking around and around but nothing happens.
