Hey i was wondering what people think of this:

I think the character's rather good. A little touching up here and there but the overall look is nice & fluid.  It's got a dynamic quality that makes it fairly life-life.  The thing that detracts from it currently (for me) is the pair of pants.  They follow the contours of the leg over-much, giving it the look of stretch-pants.  If you loosen up some of the inward curves, give it a slightly straighter line & maybe throw in some details like the lines on a pair of jeans (or slacks or whatever), it should improve the look of 'em.

Don't really worry about shading if you're going for a 'cartoon look'. All you need is a little (not too much, mind you) anti-aliasing on the edges of the colors.

Thanks for your comments. I made a couple changes but while doing so i realised how crap i am at shoes, so i left them out(going for that trousers covering shoes look). added some pocket lines, a belt and made it so both legs were shown. Also changed it to Be-bop coz me mate rekons punk isnt dead. which it probably isnt.

Agreed.  Until it's explained, I would assume that the character lost his feet in Vietnam or something.  I think the best bet (if you really wanna avoid getting messed up by shoes) is to just have the sole showing a bit, just a few pixels to show that something shoe-like is sticking out of the pants would be good.

I don't know if the big trousers thing will work in a character with so few colors, you can try to go around it but It will be harder, Make the end of the pants tatered and ripped and make lines and stuff where the ends of the shoes are pressing agianst it.
