Stuck at speakerbox on Fatman

I cut the wires, and now I'm supposed to insulate it with the duct tape, but that's not working.  I can't get past this, just keep getting electricuted.  What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem -

use your scissors to cut wire and then use duct tape on ends of cut wire - you have to interract carefully with end of wire

I've been trying to use the duct tape on the stripped back wires. But it doesn't work! I know the wire has to be insulated. Do you have to do anything with the tape beforehand, or am I clicking in the wrong places???

Did you interact with the stripped wires (twisting them together) before adding the tape?  If you didn't, I think it'll work when they're twisted.  It worked when I tried it, so I think it'll work for you as well.
