Take a look at that. That is the box for the Alien Quadrilogy, and it is only being released in Japan... damn them!

How awesome would that be to have as a DVD box/case thingy, you want to watch the movie and you have to open up it's bloody head to take one... but I wouldn't want to have it near your bed when you wake up, probably have a heart attack or something.

It goes a long way towards making you a Japan nerd. Seriously, buddy, there's plenty of anime here, and in a language you can understand to boot. The only real reasons to go to Japan are the vending machines that contain beer and porn.

Well, what do you mean by "here"? Eh, EH?
I live in Australia, and for me getting anime is ridiculously hard, or maybe it's just that I'm looking in the wrong places. I don't own a video player, only a DVD player, and every single anime DVD I bought cost me between 20 AUD and 45 AUD. Some cost more.Most anime I found was on VHS. I could join the Brisbane Anime Society, but traveling by train and walking home at the times some of their late meetings finish would be unsafe for a teenage girl, I bet if I was a guy mom would let me walk home alone at those times

On another matter.

America has absurdly long holidays in school and all and has an economy going nowhere.
Japan has little holidays, an extraordinarily strong work ethic and highly educated students.

...and has an economy that is going nowhere, and hasn't for a decade.
