Ok, I thought of this like a weekago. I made a small cartoon that don't even last a minute. I will post it up soon. I thought, hey, maybe I can start a new activity. My idea is to make a small or large cartoon, and post it up fr everyone to see. After you post it, people vote for which one they like. you really can't win anything except appreciative comments but I think its fun and its good if you want to kill some time. Please respond.
Thank you!
EDIT: Here it is. My cartoon. http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/CaRtOoN1.zip

What do you mean by "vote for what they like"?
What kind of system is that?
Ugly movie.. I could have made a better one in msdosprompt!
(though it was a good idea with a planet talking)

While I like the idea of this compo, I don't think it's a good idea to start another activity in the C&A forum. I mean, look at the stuff going on there at the moment. You wouldn't exactly call them lively.

The last sprite jam got two entries. The last Background Blitz got one. The latest Photoshop Phriday (with brand new host Ali) is practically DOA.

It just seems people don't want to participate at the moment.

It's a shame.

The whole point of doing this was because of what you said just now, It just seems people don't want to participate at the moment.

8cm: First of all I didn't put anywork into this because I was just showing people an example. And the "Vote for what you like" system would be cool but I think you too low for its standards. I made the graphics in MS-PAINT and, like I said at the top, did not put any work into it!

Alright then,  guess this wasn't a good idea...

I know I won't participate, but I wouldn't shoot this idea just right yet. (I just won't participate because of laxk of time). Maybe people are getting sick of some of the competitions, although, the Tune contest is lively. About voting, you'll probably have to have one judge, who won the last time. But I'll let you work out all the kinks. I think this could be a fun idea, and perhaps we could get rid of some of the competitions that don't get many to participate, and revive them later if needed.
