Okay.. Well, obviously, the Enjoyable Writing Project failed..

So.. Why don't we try something similar. Instead of emailing a continuing story around.. Why don't we do something like MAGS..

Every Month, we could have a topic or idea given. Each contestant would have 25 days or so to write up a story that follows the main theme, idea, or topic given.

But I don't think voting should be taken, because it's a subjective thing in the first place..

What do you think?

I wouldn't mind running it, btw

That's an interresting idea, LGM. Just one question: Who's going to to start it?

I see a tecnical problem... If there is a monthy contest... there will be, how many, 15, 20, one-page entries? Who will read all that stuff?

I'd rather preffer the travelling-tale concept. One week to submit the names of the people who want to participate and then, the "keeper" makes a draw to decide who can continue the story...
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

What happened to the "travelling tal" idea? Didn't you come up with something like that a few weeks ago, Farlander? I think I even asked to join!

Nacho

Yup, but aparently there were two writing activities and I felt that I had no right to start it in comprtitions and activities forum. Now I offer my help to LGM if he wants to host this new activity.

We tried the perpetual story idea... First time it barely worked, second time it got lost and nobody could ever figure out what to do.

I didn't know Andail had started something similar though.. heh

Andail, if you see this, gimme a PM or sth if you want to collaborate

I don't know how many darn writing projects we've started without completing them :)

The only one that sort of got finished ended up pretty awkward anyway (that nigel thompson/demon story).

LGM, feel free to start whatever you want; anything can be done, and done well, if enough people show interest.
But no more travelling stories, they just get stuck as soon as one lazy bastard decides he can't be bothered to send it further.
