Hi...

I wonder if you could help me out.

I've been designing my game for over a year and I've been designing it in 320x200 resolution with the letterbox option UNTICKED.

However, as of late, the game seems to always run in letterbox mode and I don't really know why.

The only thing I can think of is the fact that I recently converted from 256 colour to 16-bit colour...Could this be the reason why? And if so, why?

I hope you can help me out, your pal, Daz.

I'm just guessing, but here are a couple of possibilities.

1. The colour depth switch - maybe your video card doesn't have a 320x200 hicolour mode, so AGS has to use 320x240.

2. You got an LCD monitor, which runs 320x200 as 320x240 letterbox.

Hi Steve, thanks for replying :)

I haven't got an LCD monitor so it's not that.

As for the colour depth switch, I changed this a while ago and the game ran full screen so this really has me baffled!

EDIT: Fixed it! As stupid and as lame as it sounds, I restarted the PC and now it works! lol, ah, the wonders of technology! Sorry for wasting your time mate.

Your pal, Daz.
