Suggestion: Scale Sprites after import

Chris, can you implement a feature that will allow us after we import sprites to scale them in the sprite manager.

For instance, I imported a sprite that is 140x80, and its huge. Then I have another imported at 40x32. I know I could resize the image myself in paint. But when I scale the room, the characters and images that are scaled dont go well together.

I would either like to suggest that there is an option that can be turned on and off that would allow the object, sprite or character to be scaled or not in a specific room. Or maybe you could use Scale2x or 3x in AGS and allow it to scale the sprites in the sprite manager to the required size.

I like that idea.  Thre could be a little radio in the Preferences or the main editor asking if you want to have the sprites pre-scaled.  Then you could round up the main size of the images and put them in the boxes.

Brilliant!

So why not create different views with different sprites and then change character views in the rooms where you need to?

The real problem with scaling is when you need to have a large moving object in a room that has perspective. If it starts at the side then comes towards the centre, while staying at a constant y position, it should be the same height but get narrower. For example, if the walls of a room start to close in, the wall will get "thinner" in terms of pixels as it closes in, to maintain correct lines of perspective.

Yeah, yeah, please! I'm in great need of such a feature! I thought, however, that this was suggested some time before...
