Hello!

I'd like some comments on my BG's. The coloring can be edited, but Weird=Me. The shadings etc. I need work on. I think the images look... Well, empty!
I think I need to add something, but I don't know what! also. What color should the mask be if I import a walkbehind mask for that plant in the first one?

Inside the main (still unmade) characters house...

Outside his house...

Now i anyone is kind enough to crit these. I spent an amount of time trying to figure out what to add to the pics...

Chicky

i like the juse of colours and the crazy perspective, but i dont like the sign and the town on the second pic, too detailed for the style.

Perspective is wonky...yes, I said wonky....

Other than that they look good, nice and clean....but too clean? Yes, I said too clean....

For the first picture I would fix the perspective by going off of the door (the window is cwazy) Then I wouls add some items to the room. Think about whats in rooms in houses that you've probably seen in your life, hell you might even have your own house, or even your own room to go off of!

You could put some papers/dishes/ candles/ pots/plants on the table, some pictures on the wall, some cracks or blemishes on the wall, maybe an electrical outlet/light switch  (always good for the adventure game puzzles) And I think you should make the trim around the door and window a different color. maybe even put trim at the base of the wall...

Then add simple shadows a viola!

Good stuff though...

Oh... the Window in the first image is a little crazy... and the chair is out off the perspective... and the places inside the house are too clear... but I like the picture... I like the style. It's funny and "aconchegante" (a place very good to stay, sorry it's portuguese and I don't know how to say this in English).

Denzil Quixode

Here, I fixed the window for you:

... ;)

Seriously though, I like it. The lights on the buildings don't look too good though, it looks like colour dithering or something.

LordHart

Oh my god!!!!!!11!! The gradient is burning my eyes... :-\

Paper Carnival

Cool! I love your style, but it seems it's missing something... Maybe it's more detail. No, don't go add details to already drawn objects, but try drawing more objects instead. I think this style would be ruined with shading or texturing, so my suggestion is not to use them unless you figure a way to make them match the style

Oh, and do something about that gradient! It doesn't go with the rest of the picture.

And yeah, all those perspective issues and stuff like that... Keep them! They certainly look DOTTish and cartoony

Andail

Hehe, nice work Denzil :)

Haddas, I have to say that you seem to have tried just a bit too much to give the pictures a crazy feeling...
Although tilted and skewed furniture can be hilarious sometimes, I'm positive that your backgrounds would gain from having the perspective just a wee bit corrected.

Also, remember kids: "You've gotta say no to gradients!"

Haddas

What do you people mean "crazy perspective", "too hard"?
I am trying to draw straight!!!

Well, anyway. Here's a slightly edited version...

I tried editing the larger parts, but with no luck :P
Let's face it... I are suxxors!1!
