The real Monkey Island?

Maybe it's just sleep deprivation and a bad cold, because obviously there are hundreds of Monkey Islands all over the world, but I found this weird and funny. I came across these sites while googling for Monkey Island screenshots:

Hehehe. That hotel is funny. I was talking to Ron Gilbert about it and he said if he ever came to England, he'd stay there. It was also a plan for me and some other forum members to dress up as pirates and visit the island one day and take photos, for fun.

You can get a boat trip that goes to Monkey Island and that was the plan. For more info on that hotel, go to http://www.monkeyisland.co.uk . Make sure you check out the "Dining" section and then take a look at the Monkey Room - cos it looks like it comes straight out of MI2!
