INSIDE THE PLANE BUT CANT FIGURE HOW TO OPEN THE HATCH EVEN AFTER I USED THE CROSS ON IT. HELP!!!!!

go one screen to the left of the sleeping guard and use the snooping device on the speaker in the right-top corner of the screen. You should overhear some body talking about a password. The snooping device will now die and leave a broken battery which you automatically take. Go to the screen immediately right were the guard is and open the coffin. Take the battery and use it on the headless corpse. Once the corpse disappears "USE" the coffin and you will be transported onto the jet. When inside use the cross on the coffin to pry open the latch. This is where I am stuck. Even after prying open the latch it stiill says I can't open the latch with my bare hands. If you get any further help me out. people are slow to reply and I have been siting on this problem fro months.

thanks for your help....... now i am stuck in the same place..... i think theres a bug there cos the cross disappears but the hatch doesnt open
