???  A friend sent me the link to this game and I downloaded it.  I've never really played many games before and I'm lost.  I think I did everything possible at the apartment.  Then I got to the map and it gave circles to go to for the library and the park.  I went to the park and talked to the vendor and found the flute lady but I can't talk to her or anyone else.  I went to the library and can't do anything.

Someone please help me and I would much appreciate it if anyone could give me a brief run down on how I'm supposed to know what to do in these games?

Thanks!!!

Larien

You have to do things you never thought possible.  :)  Anything goes here in an AGS game, as soon as you know that you're all set.
It's been a while since I've played this game, but what do you have in you inventory?  Maybe we can figure something out from there, and if I don't know what to tell you after that, I'm sure someone else will.
Bestowers is an (I'll say advanced due to lack of better term) game and it made even the more seasoned gamers give things a little thought, so don't be discouraged if you can't quite figure something out.  We're here to help when we can.

Hehe, i finished it with no help in 2 hours  :)

Anyway, remember that in adventure games, especially Betowers of Eternity, always click on everything tht you can.  When you talk to somene, use AlL the options, and always look at the stuff in your inventory.
To play, you must open your mind and explore all logical answers to setermine what to do next.  Think about what you are doing.
And when all else fails, just use an inventory item on everything in a room  :).

Bestowers is a great game.  Need any help, just ask me.

BTW, welcome to the exiting world of adventure gamers!  Woo-Hoo!  :D

I just meant we actually had to think about some of these puzzles.  Most of them are average, but there are those odd few that take brain work.
I really didn't mean ALL seasoned gamers (it took me about three hours when I played it), I was just trying to find a nice way to say don't be discouraged.   :)
Oh!  And I still mean that: Don't be discouraged.  You just have to play enough for it to become second nature to you to know when to do something.
Bestowers truly is a great game, though I still think it's a harder one to start out with.  But I guarantee, it can be played even at the beginner stage.  Good luck, guys.  Ask when you have questions.

Let me see, in the inventory I have what looks like a sheet of paper and a watch.

I went to the library and the shelves and it told me to look in the computer thing.  I went to the computer thing and she asked what we should look up and I have no idea how to manipulate any of the objects!  ::)

I'm using the rolling eyes guy because I have trouble figuring out how to open toys for my own children half the time LOL

Ok, so I finally figured out I had to read the letter.  I saw the doc, talked to the woman, got into the apartment, got the package, basically made it to day two.  I even got put under hypnosis and figured out to set my watch and snooped in the files.  ;D  Then my son shut my computer off in the middle of my game and I have to start all over again  :-\

Not sure what to do from there but if I get stuck, I'll head back here.  At some point I would like to read a little from here, but who knows when I'll have time for that.

I'm glad to see you got my message and are getting ahead with the game.  I was afraid it was not too clear. :)

:)Thanks Sunshine, I've finished that fun little game and really enjoyed it.   Now, I think I'll try another.

GoneInsane, you have just proven a point.  In any game, short, medium or long,  easy or difficult, you should SAVE your game as often as possible ::)
